In March 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony of the first smart agriculture demonstration base in Hunan -- Zoomlion Yuanjiang Smart Agriculture Demonstration Base - was held in Yuanjiang of Yiyang City in Hunan Province. The base is jointly built by Zoomlion and Yuanjiang Municipal Government with an investment of nearly 100 million yuan, striving to build an agricultural production base with the highest degree of intelligence in Hunan Province.

The base will develop a smart agricultural model adapted to the environment of Hunan agricultural industry, produce ecological quality brand rice with national influence, and improve the level of modern agricultural production in Yuanjiang and even Hunan. The construction of the base marks another solid step in Zoomlion's in-depth layout of digital agriculture and smart agriculture, and shows that Zoomlion actively responds to the No.1 Document of the Central Government to promote agricultural and rural modernization with high-end intelligent equipment and smart agriculture development.

It is understood that the base construction will be divided into three steps: Firstly, implement the localization of Zoomlion's smart agricultural technology, build a 500-mu digital rice research base, specify the most suitable rice varieties for local cultivation, and tailor the standard system of digital rice cultivation to produce high-end rice; secondly, establish the digital agricultural command and dispatching center to realize scientific planting decisions driven by big data, meet the requirements of "increasing production and reducing cost, saving fertilizer and medicine, improving quality and tracing the whole process" with large-scale rice cultivation, and establish local high-end rice brands; thirdly, carry out digital agriculture promotion and digital rice brand marketing for the 800,000-mu cultivated land in Yuanjiang to increase farmers' income and let them get rich.

The Yuanjiang image shop of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery simultaneously unveiled with Zoomlion smart agriculture demonstration base has also attracted much attention. According to reports, the image shop can not only provide cost-effective agricultural machinery and equipment for the majority of farmers in Yuanjiang and Northern Hunan, but also undertake the task of providing new smart agronomy training for farmers in Yuanjiang and Northern Hunan. Therefore, a new pattern of intelligent agricultural industry chain can be formed in Yuanjiang and even Northern Hunan surrounding the intelligent agricultural base together with the intelligent agricultural machinery image shop and intelligent agricultural pavilion.
