The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Indar Weir, received on behalf of BAMC, a Sugarcane Harvester from the Chinese firm, ZoomLion. The handover took place at the headquarters of the Barbados Agricultural and Management Company (BAMC) earlier today.

Ministers in attendance were: Minister in the Ministry, Peter Phillips; Officials from the Chinese Embassy; Permanent Secretary, Terry Bascombe; Chief Agricultural Officer, Keely Holder and Chief Executive Officer of the BAMC, Orlando Atherley. The Vice Governor of Hunan Province in China, also attended virtually.
