Zoomlion accelerates agricultural modernization in Nigeria

Recently, at the 2024 agricultural season event held in Nigeria, Nigerian Vice President Kashim Shettima came to the Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery products exhibition area to understand the localization of products in detail, and praised Zoomlion agricultural machinery products.

 

 

After listening to the introduction of Zoomlion's local market leader, Shettima said that agricultural machinery enterprises represented by Zoomlion have made great contributions to Nigeria's agricultural mechanization. He hoped that Zoomlion would further increase its investment in Nigeria's agricultural machinery market, introduce more agricultural machinery products suitable for Nigeria's needs, let farmers buy agricultural machinery at ease, boldly use agricultural machinery, and rapidly promote the penetration rate of Nigerian agricultural machinery.

 

It is understood that in the first half of this year alone, Zoomlion plans to introduce nearly 500 tractor products in the local market. This "customized" tractor for the local, from the power system, transmission system and other aspects of targeted optimization and upgrading, improve the driving comfort and operation convenience, more suitable for Nigeria's cultivated land environment, reduce the threshold of the country's agricultural civil aircraft, widely welcomed.

 

 

Not just "go out", but "go in". Since the beginning of this year, Zoomlion has launched a special training session on agricultural machinery technology in Nigeria, aiming to popularize and teach advanced agricultural machinery and agronomic knowledge to the local people, and gradually promote the process of agricultural mechanization in this rich land.

 

In early February, a special training and demonstration of Zoomlion agricultural machinery was held in Kaduna State, Nigeria. More than 300 people from local state governments, universities, agricultural organizations, and large farms participated.

 

 

The training venue was full. Zoomlion technical experts taught the audience the principles of agricultural machinery, construction and other knowledge. In the test drive of agricultural machinery products, technical experts guided the students to personally experience the machine and experience the product functions in depth.

Joshua, a student from Ahmedu Belo University, gives a thumbs up after a test drive. He said that the training not only let him learn to operate the tractor, but also learned a lot of knowledge about agricultural machinery and production, and deeply felt the benefits of agricultural mechanization.
